Lord Hague's keynote address will set the tone of this inaugural Conservation Kabunga. His respected and decorated public pedigree, combined with his close working relationship on wildlife conservation with Prince William will undoubtedly give depth of purpose to the talk he delivers on 31 March.

ZCA-UfW Introduction with Luke Brown

The United for Wildlife effort has won global acclaim due to its ability to bring together the world's most powerful Financial and Transport taskforces in the fight against the Illegal Wildlife Trade. The Zambesia Conservation Alliance has a crucial role to play in supporting UfW in its efforts by bringing the frontlines for conservation in the Zambesia region to the top table.

The Lay of the Land & the Way Forward with Ivan Carter

Ivan Carter is one of the best narrators around the subject of conservation in Zambesia. His reputation as a powerful conservationist precedes him. He has the ability to passionately cultivate the audience and in so doing concisely explain a very complicated subject with ease. Both the advanced and novice conservationist can take a great deal away with them after listening to him.

Controlling the Narrative - #MediaForConservation

Led by Richard Madden with Maggie Mutangiri & Yvonne Mtengwa.

For too long the Zambesia region's wildlife conservation stories have been told by those that are not entirely in touch with the realities on the ground. This panel deep dives into how the conservation narrative can be dominated by the real stories from the frontline and subsequently do justice to them on the world stage.

The Fight Against IWT

With Nick Holme, William Brown and Ever Chinoda

Now the 3rd biggest crime in the world after Human Trafficking and Drug Smuggling, the time for glossing over the Illegal Wildlife Trade has gone. The panel will enlighten the audience as to what must happen to tackle this growing monster of our time.
