About the Event

We are like no other event! We will bring delegates to the middle of the world and arrange a programme that will give them the time, environment and right contacts for forging truly meaningful partnerships. We want our delegates to experience all that Quito has to offer while you build long-lasting business relationships in a more natural and enjoyable way.

Connections Meetings in Ecuador will be full of educational content about Sustainability, an important theme for both the MICE industry and for Quito as a destination. Our facilitators Mike van der Vijver (Meeting Designer from Mindmeeting), David Benitez (Head of Business Development for Connection Meetings) and Claudia van’t Hullenaar (Live Communication & Sustainability Advisor) will be guiding you through a series of energetic and thought-provoking workshops on the subject.

We hope our delegates will leave feeling inspired to take small yet significant actions to do your bit as a MICE professional to care for our planet.

Dress Code

The Connections way works best when you embrace the experiences on offer. During the day we would advise that all delegates dress in comfortable/casual attire.

Suits and ties are not required

We all like you to look your best, but with our programme being active, suits may not work!

Think carefully about heels

Heels can be a problem if you want to join some of the activities on offer, so if you’re going to wear heels, consider bringing some flats too so you don’t miss out.

Weather

The average temperature is likely to be between 15-20°C. There may be some rainy days, so bare showers in mind when you pack.

We do advise that all delegates take their own necessities, which may include, medical supplies, etc.

Connections Experiences

At Connections Meetings, we’re dedicated to creating the best possible environment to help our buyers, suppliers and sponsors create deep, long-lasting business relationships with each other.

The Connections Experiences, kindly curated and sponsored by Quito Tourism Board, are intended to act as replacements for tabletop introductory meetings. Instead of sitting at an assigned table, we encourage you to try an activity together. However, the choice is yours! Please remember to go back to your assigned table at the start of each meeting.
